Privacy
GASP is a research tool of the InSTePP group at the University of Minnesota, used by a small, named team to curate historical agricultural statistics. Only people whose Google account is on the team's list can sign in.
What GASP receives from Google
When you sign in, Google tells GASP your email address, whether Google has verified it, and your name. GASP asks for nothing else: no access to your Drive, mail, contacts or any other Google data.
What GASP keeps
Your email address is kept in a signed session cookie for up to 14 days so you stay signed in, and it is recorded with each change you make to a table or file, so the team can see who decided what. Nothing is sold, shared outside the project team, or used for advertising.
Questions or removal
Write to jan5020@gmail.com to ask what is kept about you or to have your access removed.
